| The Mather family came to America from Derbyshire in the highlands of central England. They first moved to Illinois before homesteading in Iowa in the 1840s then to Nebraska in the early 1900s. The family is now spread out to Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina, Oaklahoma, Minnisota, Missouri and Florida. |
