| THE MATTE/SASSEVILLE/LEPAGE/MARGHILDON HOME PAGE I am attempting to trace my ancestors in North America back to France where I believe they originated in the mid sixteen hundreds. They apparently settled in what is now the Province of Quebec and then settled in other parts of Canada and the United States of America. My family has ties to many other families in North America with names like Dion, Keable, Roy, Dumont, Caron, Gagnon, St. Onge and many more too long to list here. They will become evident when the tree is developed. |
