We need your help in researching the following family names: MATEVISH /RIBAR /STADLER /KAPPEL The Matevish and Ribar families came from Croatia,formerly Yugoslavia, around the turn of the century and settled in Western Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh,Philipsburg and Johnstown. Michael and Mary Matevish raised 9 children...My parents were John Matevish and Kathryn Ribar who raised 4 children in Level Green Pa.from the late 1940's-70's. John Ribar and Veronica Mochan also from Croatia came to eventually live and die in Level Green,Pa. after living many years in Wilmerding,Pa. Daniel Stadler and Arlene Kappel whose decendants came from Germany raised 3 children in the Pittsburgh area from the early 1950's-80's. Anyone having any information on our family is invited to e-mail or call us with any information that would be helpful in learning more about our families.
