| We are interested in the following names for our family tree:- MATTHEWS were Agricultural Labourers & mill owners in Whichford & Brailes in Warwickshire, England for 300 years. A descendant, Alfred Matthews migrated to Australia in 1913 with his wife, Annie (nee HARMAN)& children and settled in Sydney. CHEETHAMS from Manchester area in Lancashire, England....William Cheetham & Jane Foster married & migrated to Australia in 1884. KETTLEWELLS from North Lincolnshire, England....William Kettlewell & Mary Stanley married & took their family to Australia in 1887. FUSSELL.....Thomas Fussell was a Concert Violinist & Orchestra Conductor and his son Thomas came to Australia from England, at the age of 17 in 1925 & married Dorothy Kettlewell. HOWE William & his wife Hannah nee BLEAKNEY came to Australia from Navan in Ireland around 1911. |
