| I work on the Genealogy of the Matthews family as I find time. I go to cemeteries, talk to family members and search the internet. Getting information about my ancesters is very hard, do to fact I am 76 years old, and my ancesters did not keep records. The ones that new the history of the family has passed away. I have a lot of old pictures that could be relatives, however, they do not have names associated with them. I have traced Cynthia Adeline Douglass, my great grandfather's wife, back to the Mayflower. John Alden, born 1599,and Priscilla Mullins, born 1601, came to the United States on the Mayflower. John was one of the people that started Duxbury, Mass. You may have read about John and Priscilla in the history books. |
