I am researching the name of James Y. MATHUSS, born 10 March 1802
place of birth unknown, married 16 November 1836 to Martha June Burgess, date of death 22 December 1855. They had 7 children:
William H., James E., Zachariah D., Washington E., John H. Calvin W., and Augustus R. My Great Granddad was William H., he married Laura M. date of marriage unknown, My Grandfather name was George
Willet, who married Kate Merritt on 25 June 1891, My dads name was
Marion Thomas. He died 22 July 1927. I am the last known Mathuss, and I would like to know more about my family. Where we came from and when. If any one can help me I would appreciate very much.
