| Greetings! This personal web page began on June 13, 1999. The families that I am most closely connected to are: father's family: Adrian and Obrien mother's family: Armstrong and Gordon ex-husband's family: Forgey and Farrow partner's family: Mathews I was born and raised in south Dallas, Texas. My father's family is mostly from the Dallas area. My mother's family is from Burleson, Texas but her immediate family lived in Illinois for a time before returning to Yoakum, Texas and then Dallas. My grandmother, Lottie Josephine Gordon Armstrong, is from a large family of 8 siblings. She was the next to the youngest child and was the last to pass away. The Gordon family has continued to hold family reunions every year for the past 75 years, and we are celebrating this milestone on June 26-27, 1999. The reunion honors Cyles Monroe Gordon, his wife, Elizabeth Louisa Cox, and their eight children: Emory Victor, May Bell, Archey Watson, Ira Leonard, Horace Carlton, Ila Bess, Lula Edna, Lottie Josephine, and Elizabeth Lorena. At the time of this writing, I have a brother, Randy, who lives in Southlake, Texas. My sister, Barbara, lives in DeSoto, Texas. Nancy, my mother, lives in Lancaster, Texas and my father, Randall, lives in Florida. I live in Austin, Texas. My ex-husband's family is also from the Dallas area. My partner, Steve, has most of his family in Wisconsin, though some have moved to Washington state, Arkansas and the east coast. I have developed a fairly comprehensive family tree for the Gordons and one for the Mathews, too. I would love any information regarding any of the family names listed above.
