I want to dedicate Another Piece of Lincoln County to my mother Teresita. My memories of Glencoe, Lincoln County, New Mexico are forever eched in my mind. I loved our summer vacations as we drove through the mountains west of Roswell where we lived. Mom would tell us to roll up our windows because a mountain lion, or panther, or maybe even a bear could just grab us. The rocky mountains with large caves, catus, and pine trees seemed so close that we could almost reach out and touch them. The Highway was only two lanes and very narrow.
