I research the family names of Mattingly, Crow/Crowe, Gideons, Arms, Hinton, and Williams along with the multitude of other connecting families. I have removed my family files from this particular site in order to protect the names and other personal information of living individuals. I am happy to freely share any information via the Internet but you will need ample hard-drive space to accomodate some of the files. Some of the files contain well over 50,000 names and are in excess of 30 megabytes in size. My two primary files are: <tmattinglyii> and <cezar>.
The Mattingly family are of English Catholic ancestry and settled initially in Maryland in 1663/4. There is evidence of another small group settling in Ohio during the mid 1800 era.
My Crow/e family is of English Protestant ancestry. There are however, many Catholic lines in the USA and Canada.
