I am searching the family names Sweeney from County Donegal Ireland, McCabe from County Laois and Keenan from County Tyrone
Hugh Sweeney (1781-1865) married Hannah McGinty (1792-1867). They came from the Kilmacrenan area of north Donegal to Caledon Ontario in 1837.

The McCabe family that I am researching came from County Laois about 1824 to Adjala Township in Simcoe Co. Ontario. Three brothers Thomas, Paul and Peter were the first to arrive followed at a later date by John McCabe.

The Keenan families that I am researching came from County Tyrone in the north of Ireland about 1824-26 to Adjala Township in Simcoe Co. Ontario. John Keenan (1773-1866)married Eleanor Montague (1771-1829). They arrived in Canada with 10 children. James Keenan, John's brother also came to Canada about two years earlier than John. They came from the Parish of Aughaloo and the town of Aughnacloy. James Keenan was from the nearby town of Killens in County Tyrone.
