My great grandparents David Aitken and Elizabeth Aitken along with my grandparents Joseph McCann and Mary McCann[Aitken],emigrated from Scotland to U.S.A. in the early 1890's Other family members travelling with them were Marion Cooper[Aitken] her husband Alexander Cooper and Janet Bain[Aitken] and her husband ? Bain David Aitken deid in the U.S. [between 1893-1900] The McCann's and Elizabeth Aitken returned to the UK around 1900. While in the U.S. two sons were born to Joseph and Mary McCann, David and Joseph [between 1893-1899]possibly in Pennsylvania. Where can I find birth and death records for that period?
