| I have just started my research. I have a lot of dead ends - All of my Grandparents are gone - 3 have been gone since before I was born. The facts are very vague at this point, I have several names, but not very many dates or definite locations. My maternal grandparents are James O Hutchinson of Huntington, WV, he died in 1979 when I was a teen. My maternal Grandmother was Carol Ann Sperry Hutchinson (sometimes misspelled as Carroll), she died in the mid 1940 in a TB sanitarium in Hopemont WV. There was also an infant son Abe that died there as well. My mother, Joyce Kathryn born 1942, and uncle, James Rosco Hutchinson were then raised by an aunt. My Great grandparents are Abe (Abraham) and Mary (Staley) Hutchinson of Huntington WV and Wayne County WV and Fred and Mary (Burchett ?) Sperry, Fred and Mary Sperry may be from Wayne County WV or From Lawrence County KY. |
