Henry F. Page, acclaimed by some as "the Poor Man's George Burns", entered this world at Philadelphia in 1908; attended Williams College and the University of Pennsylvania where he received an A.B. and M.D.; trained at the Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia; practiced general medicine until activated to duty in the United States Naval Reserve; present at Pearl Harbor December 7th and at Nagasaki about a month after the explosion; Commanded Medical Reserve training unit until retired as Captain; associated with Edward L. Bortz, MD (late President of AMA) in practice of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics in Philadelphia, functioned as Head of Department of Research on Aging at Lankenau Hospital; semi-retired to Midland, Texas where he was associated with Ralph Greenlee, MD and Medical Director of four nursing homes; and is now presently Consultant on Health and Safety at Trinity Towers/Manor Park CCRC. He is a Fellow of the AMA (1936) of the American College of Physicians (1942), and of the American Geriatric Society (1952). Certified Board of Internal Medicine. He lectures on Aging at multiple symposiums in this country and Europe and at present is a bi-weekly columnist for the Midland Reporter-Telegram.

Now spending their honeymoon at the Volcano House on the Big Island are Lt. Henry Felch Page, medical corps USNR, and Mrs. Page (Ruth Melrose Unkles).
They were married at 4 P.M. May 20 at the Kahala Ave. home of Mr. and Mrs. Addison H. Kirk with Chaplin Thornton Miller, USN, officiating.
The bride, who was given in marriage by Cmdr. Marshall M. Dana,USN, was beautifully gowned in bouffand white lace and net. A tiara of white orchids was her only adornment. She carried a small white prayer book.
Lt. Frank G. Soule, medical corps USN, served as best man.
A reception followed the wedding in the Kirk home which was decorated with colorful shell ginger.
Mrs. Page, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Unkles of Philadelphia, Pa., was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she received a B. S. degree. She received an M. S. degree from Smith College, Northampton, Mass. Formerly she was the acting field director of the American Red Cross at the U.S. naval hospital, Pearl Harbor.
Lt. Page is the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. H. F. Page of Chestnut Hill, Pa. He received his A. B. and M.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Fellow American College of Physicians and a former instructor of medicine in the graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. He also was an assistant physician at the Lankenau hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. and manager of the Philadelphia Epileptic hospital.
The couple will make their home at the Halekulani hotel when the return from their honeymoon.------
