The early MAIBERGERS lived in the area west of Frankfort Germany. They immigrated in 1848 and settled on the east side of New York City, Ohio, and Michigan.The names are also spelled: Mayberger, Maiberger, Meiberger, Mieberger, Miberger, Myberger, Meyberger, Mayburger, Mailberger, Meilburger, Meybercha, Meibeyer, Maeburger, Maiboerger.The first MAYBERGER known was a blacksmith born about 1637 in Lettgenbrunn, Germany. Later some moved to Bad Orb, Rengensbrunn, Lorsch, and Rieneck. |
