| My Maynard's go back (for now) to Gibson Mainer Sr, found in North Carolina in the late 1700s and down through Larkin, Beverly, Sebastin, William Beverly, James Lucus, James Beverly1, and me James Beverly2. Looks like Beverly moved the family to Georgia in the mid 1800s where my line has stayed. I'm presently in northeast Georgia and longing to move back to my roots in the mountains of North Carolina. I'm just beginning the family history journey, and have concentrated on the Maynard line until now. I am also beginning to research some of my immediate lines, Watkins, Mayson, Hammond, Mitchell, Brown, and Kalb. On my wifes side we will begin with Felton, Janzen and Lesser, proceeding to Parsons, and Hines. Feel free to contact me if you, too are from the Gibson Mainer Sr. line.
