Jean M. E. WOODMAN + James HICKMAN of Eng. + Wales

I am the eldest and proud daughter of the late James HICKMAN 1923-1999 of Llanelly, Wales and Deal, Kent and it was through my father that I started HICKMAN family research. We did this together for about 4 years before sadly he passed away.
This site is my tribute to him. God Bless you Dad and thank you for always being there for my sisters and me after Mum died.
For the more recent years I turned my attention to the family of my late Mum Jean Margaret Elsie WOODMAN. This has been harder as she had been orphaned by 9yrs old and herself died young.
If I am not sure of a fact it is noted as such. I now have a will of Joseph HICKMAN that mentions his son Robert HICKMAN (born April 1670) also mentioned is Grandson Joseph and at the time of the will our Robert had a young son Joseph. Borh Joseph the elder + son Robert were Carpenters with workshops so I am now pretty sure this is the correct father. The question is now who is Joseph's Dad? Is it Robert or William? both had sons of the right age!
My brickwall is Sarah Spencer BAGSHAW (1818-1879)who was baptized at Ansty, Warwickshire and then married at Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.
The biggest thanks goes to my long suffering husband Mole, without his help I would never have acheived so much.
