The Williams/Morris Homepage

I have recently started looking up my family’s genealogy. I am researching the Williams family from Mississippi. Around the Amite Co, Wilkinson Co. area.
I have run into a brick wall with William A. Williams. (1843) He is said to have come from Corsica. I have found in the 1880 census his parents were listed as ‘Father from France. Mother from Switzerland’.
There are many many other Williams’ that I would like to have solid dates for also.

In addition, I am researching the Morris family. Also from the Amite Co. Wilkinson Co. Mississippi area.

Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
