| Meriton and Thorp family History I am currently researching my family history on two sides . The first was my Anscestor Edmund Stephen Thorp , who was transported as a convict to Tasmania in 1838. The other is on my grandmothers side ( Meriton) as my great Grandmother knew very little about her husbands Family .
