Southern Perrys - Descendants of William PerryUpdated September 5, 2000 |
This is the lineage of the southern Perrys whose line begins in England and are transplanted to the American Colonies in the 1600s where their roots sink deep in Virginia and North Carolina. Following the American Revolution branches of the family accompanied the expansion of the fledgling nation and are now found throughout the United States. They are deeply rooted in nearly all of the southern states. Many people have researched the Perry family and all have been confronted by the same obstacle, lack of proper documentation in to many instances. Therefore, differences in interpretation of records is unavoidable but we do want accuracy and seek newer, more complete information from every source. All corrections or additions are considered for inclusion. While errors undoubtedly exist I think it advantageous to present this work towards the very purpose of correction. |
