"Grandma Whaley" (1806-1894) holding her red velvet photo album of family pictures. The original of this portrait, and the photo album, were from the collection of Diannah's son William Malone Pruitt, and left to his son, John Ruben Harrison Pruitt. The photo album, with it's contents of family pictures and Tin Types, was stored in Ruben's trunk for many years until after his death and is now in the posession of his granddaughter Virginia Beckham Carroll. Diannah's name was written on the back of this picture; her last name as "Thompson."
