Mary Blakely (b. October 1785, d. Bet. 1870 - 1880)

Mary Blakely (daughter of Dionisious Blakely and Fanny) was born October 1785 in South Carolina, and died Bet. 1870 - 1880 in Barnesville, Monroe Co. Georgia. She married John Hidle on Bet. 1800 - 1809 in South Carolina, son of Martin Hidle and Elisabetha Simons.

1851 Monroe County, Georgia Deed Record Vol. S, page 229-230
Widowed Mary's son Phillip T. Heidle bought his brother John B. Hidle's one-sixth share of their father's estate in Monroe County then in the name of their mother, Mary Blakely Hidle, in 1851:
John B. Hidle of Pike County, Ga "For and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred dollars, in had paid, "...sell unto Phillip T. Hidle of county of Monroe of said State, all my right, title, interest or claim...to the share of one sixth part, of the dower of Mary Hidle, resting in me at the death of the said Mary Hidle, to lot of land number one hundred, south half in the Eleventh District of Monroe County."
November 9, 1851. Registered November 18, 1880.

Mary's youngest son, Fleming Hidle, died young in 1853 leaving a will in which his estate was divided equally between his mother, Mary Blakely Heidle and sister, Frances Heidle.
