Frances S. Heidle (daughter of John Hidle and Mary Blakely) was born Abt. 1823 in Edgefield District, South Carolina, and died Aft. 1870 in Monroe Co. Georgia.
Notes for Frances S. Heidle: Frances S. Hidle, called Fanny, was the only known daughter of John Hidle and Mary Blakely. Frances, as a single spinster, is listed living in her mother's household in the 1850 through 1870 censuses. In the 1850 census a Robert C. Hidle 7, is listed following Frances 27. Robert is not listed in any later censuses and it is unknown who his parents are. Some have speculated that he was the illegitimate son of Frances.
Frances Heidle's brother, Fleming Hidle, died young in 1853 leaving a will in which his estate was divided equally between his mother, Mary Blakely Heidle and sister, Frances Heidle.
