I am researching the decendents of brothers George and John May. They came to Philadelphia from Holland about 1700The decendants of John settled in North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia, and later migrated to Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. George had seven children, John, Phillip, Rowland, Lawrence, George, Catherine, and Jacob. Jacob married Elizabeth Troyer and moved to Kentucky in 1783 and settled in Lincoln County.Other names in my tree I am researching are OVERSTREET, BILBO, JOHNSON, PRESTON, WRIGHT, PURDOM. and SHANNON.
