REUNION! On June 13, we had a picnic reunion in Yakima Washington with some of the new found cousins. The people involved are all descendents of John K and Frances B CRAMER, who homesteaded in Fremont Nebraska in the 1850's. If any of you reading this are also descendents of this couple, please email me and I will gladly share information, and would love to receive your information. We are very pleased and excited about this chance to meet some more of our family. We had a very enjoyable picnic, with about 10 family members we had not met before, coming from Alabama, Missouri and Oregon.
Welcome to my research site, come in, sit down, have a cup of tea if you like, and lets talk about the exciting things going on in our mutual researches. Email me, if you have any comments, questions, corrections, additions or just because you want to.

I am looking for more information on my great grandparents, and their children, the John K. CRAMER Family, PA, NE, SD, MT, OK, CO. At our reunion, I learned John K Cramer was born March 28, 1823, in Somerset Township, Somerset County, PA. John K CRAMER married Frances B. WEST, born abt 1826 in Ohio. Married May 8, 1852 in Adams Co., IL. Migrated to Nebraska in 1854, had 9 children, including Lucratia who married a Mr. WEAVER, Metellah, who married a Mr. HAVENS, Fulton who married Emma ? and had a daughter Flora, Orestes Charles, who married Eliza Emmarilla CARLTON, lived in South Dakota, and Montana. Pearly, John P., who lived in Oklahoma, Emma, who married a Mr. McBRIDE, Emmett, (my grandfather) married Retta THOMAS, ranched in southern Colorado, then moved to Yakima Washington, and Robert L., who married Mae KISSELL, and lived in Nebraska. Would appreciate connecting with living descendents of these people, my Aunts would be thrilled to be able to talk to cousins, or their descendants.

Recent information I have gained on this family is the descendants of Orestes Charles CRAMER, I talked to the great granddaughter of Orestes Charles. What a day! His daughter Laura A. CRAMER married Francis Marion PIERCE, lived in Belle Fourche, SD, had 5 children. His son Ira Norton CRAMER had one son Samuel Norton CRAMER. I would like to find descendants of these men. I also found Lucratia CRAMER, daughter of John K and Frances CRAMER, married John L WEAVER August 12, 1870, and in the 1880 census lived in Fremont Nebraska, they had four children, a son, Lealand, 9, 3 daughters, Alpha F., 5, Ruie E., 3, and Lottie, 1. They later moved into South Dakota, living at Hill City, or maybe Hermosa, and John's parents were William WEAVER and and Alpha HOUGHTON WEAVER. I have two reports of where he was born, the marriage report is he was born in New York, the 1880 census says born in Ireland. If you can supply any additional information, please email me. It is possible that he was in the Civil War, a John L WEAVER is on the 1890 Civil War Census for Custer County SD, he has served from New York, at the time of the census, had a residence at Hermosa, SD.

On Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998 I found Ira Norton Cramer's living descendants. On Friday, March 6, I found Robert Cramer's living descendants. This is quite a thrill!

I am researching George HARDS Family, they immigrated from Kent, England to Idaho, and on to Washington State. I grew up around several of my great Aunts, and have a good bit of information to share.

I am looking for information about the Ewen Alexander HOWATT family, immigrated from PEI Canada to USA, Montana, Oregon, Washington. Please email me if you have information.

My former husbands family, the Cleve MAZIE Family, Louisiana and Washington, John MAZA Family, including family names POTTS, DICKEY, SULLIVAN, in Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana. Shadrack or Rua GUTHRIE, Lafayette County MS, before 1850, might be connected with John MAZA, who was born in 1806, in Tenn. Various spellings for this MAZA - Mazie family may include MAZE, MAZY, MAYZE, MAZEE,
