| James Blanton McAllister was born in Tennessee in about 1800. He married Margaret McRae and they had ten children.The older children were born in Tennessee but the younger children were born in Carroll Co. Georgia after James moved his family there in 1832.Decendents of James Blanton now live in several states. They are known to live in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.My line of the family came to Texas some time after the Civil War and settled in Wood and Upshur Counties, near the community of Perryville, Texas.The Clan McAllister of America (CMA) line number is JB01. |
