Laura Margaret McAllaster, of Dallas, and Jeffrey Edward
Ruediger, of Plano, Texas, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Oct. 9, 2004, at
the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas.
The bride is the daughter of Cary and Peggy McAllaster,
Plano. She is the granddaughter of Roger and Mary Ghormley, Lincoln, Neb., and
Dorthy McAllaster, Omaha, Neb.
The bridegroom is the son of Dr. Norman E. Ruediger II,
Topeka, and the late Kathleen Caviness Ruediger. He is the grandson of
Marceline Ruediger, Topeka, and the late Dr. Norman E. Ruediger I, and Ermel
Caviness, Topeka, and the late Lydia Caviness.
Janet McAllaster, Wylie, Texas, was maid of honor. The
bridesmaids were Cheryl Urban, Plano; Tracy Voegtle, Dallas; and Laine Gen, San
Francisco.
Heath Jehlik, Houston, was best man. The groomsmen were
Todd Ruediger, Pittsburg; Dale Silvius, Leawood; and Joel Rotert, Ulanbatarr,
Mongolia.
The flower girls were Emma Reinke, Eudora, and Kami
Zimmerman, Olathe. Serving as ushers were Keith Carlow, Tarzana, Calif., and
James Schultz, Corinth, Texas.
Janette Ruediger Reinke, Eudora, was the reader.
A reception followed in the Umphrey Lee Ballroom at
Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
The bride is a graduate of Plano High School, Texas Tech
University at Lubbock and Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she is
employed as a class piano coordinator. She also is a self-employed piano
teacher.
The groom is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and
Baker University in Baldwin City with a bachelor's degree in computer science.
He also attended Digipen Institute of Technology in Vancouver, British
Columbia. He is a lead programmer at Microsoft- Ensemble Studios in Dallas.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Maui, Hawaii. They reside in Plano,Texas
