| I am researching my McAllister (MCCALLISTER, MCALISTER) roots. As of yet I have not found any information on my McAllister lineage further back than Peter McAllister, who was born cir. 1871 and died in 1951. He married Mary Ida ARROWOOD and they had a son, Alexander (ALEX, ALEC) McAllister, who is my great-grandfather. I am also researching other lineage, namely:BLOOMER, ARROWOOD, DRAKE, VETTER, KNODEL, PINTLER, NICHOLS, RAINWATER, COUNTISS, CUNNINGHAM, GREENE, WRENCH, BURTT, SWIFT, WALLER, PORTER, HUTCHINSON, BRITTON, WELLS, GARDNER, SYCKS (SIX), MEAD.
