1. WILLIAM¹ MCANALLY was born 1798 in Tennessee, and died 1888 in Brookville, Indiana. He married NANCY POE January 21, 1823 in Franklin County,Indiana. She was born 1803 in Franklin County, Kentucky, and died 1844 in Harding town, Indiana.

Notes for WILLIAM MCANALLY:
William McAnally was born in Tennessee ca 1798. The county he was
born in is not known at this time. William's daughter Paulina McAnally Smith
put on the 1910 census that her father was from Alabama. With this information
I am searching in the Franklin County, Tennessee and Jackson County, Alabama
area.
It is not known at this time if William was married before Nancy Poe. This
question arises with the 1830 census of Franklin County, Indiana. William
has a male living with him that would be born around 1819 before the recorded
marriage of William and Nancy in 1823.

Notes for NANCY POE:
Nancy Poe was the daughter of John (1749) and Sally Poe.
Nancy became ill and moved to Hardingtown, Indiana when her
youngest son Francis was a little boy.
