Descendents of Robert Hand from SC

I have spent the past 25 years researching my ancestry.
So far, my research has taken me back to the 1750's and the Durbin Creek area.
Durbin Creek is located near Fountain Inn, South Carolina, in the upstate area
of the state. My oldest dates include Robert Hand, a young man from North
Carolina drafted into service in the Revolutionary War. According to the
National Archives and Records Office, he was discharged on April 10, 1779.
He bought land near Fountain Inn, South Carolina in June 1788 from William
and Ann Gunter.

He is buried at Durbin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The church records
burned many years ago, so I'm at a loss for additional information for
him, specifically who his parents were and where they came from.

I have submitted much information about his offspring (about 8 generations) to
the World Family Tree Project. When finished with the remaining 5 generations,
I will resubmit the information. However, I welcome any additional information
