I have just begun searching our family trees. I have found a lot of work that has already been done.
On my father's side of the family we have HUNTSINGER, KING, HAVENS mostly in Indiana (Madison, Tipton, & Marion Counties). I do know that the Huntsinger family goes back to Germany, but I don't have that information yet. I also know that my father's mother (King) family has been researched by one of his cousins and I hope in time to be able to get that information from him.
On my mother's side of the family I have CRAIN, BLACK, & BEAM. These are in the North Carolina and South Carolina area (Lincoln, Gaston, Cleveland counties in NC). I have a lot of names, but still need birthdates and places of birth and marriage.
My husband's family (McBEE) has been researched by his uncle Danny McBee and he has a lot of information about them. There are McBEE and DEADMON. My husband mother's family is CHASTINE in Swain County, NC and I have a little information from Danny on them.
As you can see, I am really branching out a lot on our tree. I want to thank the members of our family that have already done a lot of the work.
I really want to find the parents of William Isaac Huntsinger in Indiana and his brothers and sisters. He is my great-great grandfather.
I also want to find information on John Francis Beam who was married to Mary Francis Taylor in or around NC. They are my great-great grandparents on my mother's side.
