The Families of Mason D. Kirby and Klaas VanVeen

I am researching Mason D. Kirby on my dad's side of the family. I have reached a brick wall on Mason who was born in Kentucky about 1825. His father was born in Virginia. Mason and at least one brother moved to Warren County, Illinois about 1853. Mason and his brother George married Matilda and Martha Talley. They were sisters. Mason died in 1885 in Warren County, Illinois. IF you have any information on my Kirbys, I would love to hear from you.

The VanVeen's are my mother's side of the family. I have researched them back to The Netherlands. They came to American in 1891. I haven't been brave enough yet, to research in The Netherlands. I think I will have to learn some dutch first.
