URQUHART From Scotland to New York
| I am researching my URQUHART family and hope to find cousins both here in the states and in Scotland. Alexander was a widower when he married my grandmother and I would like to know more about that marriage as well. Alexander Atkins URQUHART was born in Scotland. He married (2)Minnie Elizabeth Hinze c. 1898, probably Brooklyn, NY. They lived in Brooklyn's Boro Park Section. He died in 1919. Minnie, his widow, lived there until her death in 1957. I will be putting information on this site as I find it.
