| This Branch of the McCarthy Family Tree starts with, who we believe to be, the first set parents inside the USA, where we believe have come, from County Cork, Ireland. This is based so far on the information gather from inside a family bible and from the memories of those living upto date of January 2001. We believe that Dennis McCarthy (or Denis) and Catherine Daly (or other spelling) came to USA as single persons and got married in Washington, D.C., where they lived and raised their Family together.
