Hon. Hon. James Vincent Coffey (b. April 18, 1879, d. 1937)

Hon. James Vincent Coffey (son of James W. Coffey and Nora Hartigan)^{155, 156} was born April 18, 1879 in Troy, NY^{157, 158}, and died 1937^{159, 160}. He married Helen Scallen on June 30, 1909 in Holy Rosary Church, Minneapolis¹⁶⁰, daughter of Joseph C. Scallen and Ellen Wallace.

Notes for Hon. James Vincent Coffey:
James admired his uncle, went out to visit him on occasion, and soon was introduced to the Scallen family. He took a shine to their the youngest daughter, Helen, and married her on June 30, 1909 at Holy Rosary Church in Minneapolis - settling permanently in Troy. James' uncle did not perform the wedding ceremony, however. He died in Minneapolis in 1904, and is buried in a Dominican cemetery in New York City.
