This is taken from an old tin type. It was from their wedding day, October 13, 1867. Jacob was a farmer, and they were members of the German Baptist (Dunkard) Church. Data on their five children was extracted by Mary Jane (Wertenberger) Hope from THE BRUMBAGH FAMILY by Melvin B. Summers, a compilation of family records, found in the Canton, Ohio Library. He and Mary are buried in Henry Warstler's Cemetary across from the Holy Trinity church (Henry's) on Middlebranch and 55th in North Canton, Ohio.
They lived on West Howell Road in Brimfield, Ohio.
