1. Felix¹ McCormick^1,^2,³ was born 1786 in County Antrim, Ireland ⁴, and died January 28, 1881 in Hinchinbrook, PQ, Canada⁴. He married Mary McMullen^5,⁶ Bef. 1824. She was born 1788 in Ireland ⁷, and died March 7, 1866 in Hinchinbrook, PQ, Canada⁷.

Excerpt from Antrim to Chateaugay by John Edmund McCormick.
In 1819, during one of the famines which took place in Ireland, Felix migrated to Canada. Apparently, at that time, anyone from the Antrim area was told before leaving to disembark at Montreal and follow the south bank of the St. Lawrence River until they came to the Chateaugay River and follow it to a point known as Mooney’s Mill which was on the Hinchinbrook River. Many Irish families settled in this vicinity, namely Lahey, McMullen, O’Leary, McGinnis, Donnelley, Layhon, Mooney, McCaffrey, Duffin, McCann, and many others. There was another mill on a brook in Rockburn and Felix settled there. He married Mary McMullen and for a time, owned the Johnston farm in Chateaugay later owned by Stewart Swantson. He later went back to Canada and settled on the farm that now belongs to Gerald McCormick.
