Descendants of Eleanor, wife of William Urin and Richard Woolcome

Endnotes

1. Since she had 2 children after her marriage to Richard Wilcomb, it is unlikely she was born any earlier than 1625. Wilcomb was b. cir 1641, so it appears he was much younger than Eleanor.
2. Will dated 19 sep 1699, inventory filed 12 oct 1699.
3. Richard Woolcome seems already to have been married to Eleanor before 1672, when he bought out the insolvent estate of William Urin. His wife appears in NH court 1667 on liquor charges, sounding much like Widow Urin did in 1665.
4. Birthdate is estimated assuming that the William Vrin noted in records of Quarterly Court of Salem, MA in 1675 was of legal age to enter into a contract in 1674.
5. Evidence for his age includes his purchase 04 mar 1667/68 of a half-interest in the dwelling house, fish house, etc. of his father's estate on Star Island, and, with his wife, conveyance of these to James Blagdon 06 nov 1668.
6. Administration of his estate granted to his widow Jane 31 oct 1676.
