Mark's paternal GG-Grandparents Nicholson. They married Sept. 13, 1866. Thomas was a Union Civil War Veteran, serving first as a Home Guard and then enlisted in Decatur, ILL. He was born in Garrard County, Kentucky June 4, 1844 and died in Cameron, MO, Nov. 9, 1929, 5 days prior to wife Lucinda.
