Frank Park Brown (son of Jacob Jackson Brown and Mary Ann Gross) was born June 1871 in Gap, PA, and died April 05, 1934 in Phoenixville, PA. He married (1) Sarah A. M. Schenck. He married (2) Emma F. Hatton on January 16, 1893 in Camden, Chester County; Third St. M. E. Church, daughter of Edmund Hatton and Susanna N. Broomall.

Pottsville phone directories list that Frank was living at 1111 W. Norwegian in 1905-1907. By 1911-1913, he is listed as living at 516 Jefferson. 1928 directory sill has him listed there.

In the 1928 directory, his two married daughters, Ava and Hazel were living at 516 Jefferson with their husbands; Ava Brown Smith and John Smith; Hazel Brown Fisher and George Fisher. There is no mention of Frank living there.

1925-1925 directory, Frank is living at 516 Jefferson St. with his wife Sara.
1926-1928 Frank is listed in the directory as living at 516 Jefferson with wife, Sarah A.

Leon N. Mandell; 112 W. Market Street, Pottsville, PA was the attorney that settled Frank's estate. Letter dated 11/3/1936.

Arthur H. Tompkins and Charles M. Mower are witnesses to Frank's will.

1910 census reports Frank P. Brown 38, living with Emma F., wife 36; Herman, son 14; Hazel, daughter 10; Paul, son, 3; and Ava, daughter NR.


1920 census cannot locate any of the family.

Frank and Sarah lived in Phoenoexville, PA from 1926 to 1934.

1930 census Frank P. is listed as living at 508 Washington Avenue, Pheonexville, PA with 2nd wife Sarah A. M. They are listed as renters.
He is listed as 58 years old at the time of the census; and 21 at the time of his first marrage. His occupation is Engineman for the P. R. Railroad

F. B. Neimann & Sons, Undertaker

Underwent treatment at the Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia from March 8 to March 14, 1934.
