Notes for Edith Mae Darling: Was 15 when she married Harry Hatton. Her father had Harry put in the Moyamensing Prison February28, 1900 in default of $100 bail. Harry wasn't much older than Edith. Before Magistrate Thornton Mr. Darling testified to the fact that his daughter was a minor. Edith was put into the custody of her father. Harry was charged with enticing and abducting a minor.
Edith Mae is buried in Fairview Cemetary next to Ann Whitaker Hatton, Harry's 2nd wife.
