Find Family
I am currently searching for links back to the Ancestral McCurdys under Chief Makurerdy. I wonder if I am a descendant of one of the 5 McCurdy refugees who arrived in Northern Ireland in 1666 due to religious persecution. Anyone with information please contact me. I am also researching the following families:
Black, Jelly, Johnston, Caldwell, Kemp, Case, Holiday, Keyes.

Specifically, I am stuck at Daniel McCurdy born in Bushmills in 1750 and married to Jane Holiday. Daniel's father was John who was married to Jane Case. I have no dates on his parents but do know that John McCurdy was born in Bushmills, Antrim, Ireland. Any help would be appreciated.

Since joining this website I think I may have mixed up lineages of a certain Elizabeth Atchison married to John McCurdy (b. 1828). Their daughter Annie married a James Henry Woodworth (her cousin?). There is a possibility that Elizabeth Woodworth, the daughter of James Henry and Annie married Matthew (who was Annie's first cousin). This information came from Evelyn Bromley in a 2001 message. Can anyone confirm this or steer me in the right direction?
