      198. Robert S.4 Shields (Sarah B.3 McClintic, Alexander2, William Alexander1 McClintock) was born October 08, 1835, and died January 17, 1898. He married Lucy Thurmond 1863 in Concord, Warren Co., MO.

Notes for Robert S. Shields:
Hunter Arbuckle: He inherited from his Uncle Robert McClintic the land that his Uncle William McClintic owned in MO. In 1858, he went to MO and worked in a store at Concord, Hill, Warren Co. for James P. Thurmond. In 1863 he married Thurmond's daughter and went to farming. In 1867-8, he was Sheriff of Calloway Co., MO; from 1880-83 manager of the Fulton Woolen Mills; 1890-96, treasurer of the Fulton Hospital for the insane, and a silent partner in a furniture business with W. H. Humphries at Fulton. In the summer of 1897, he had a paralytic stroke and passed away the next winter.

      199. Minnie4 Shields (Sarah B.3 McClintic, Alexander2, William Alexander1 McClintock) was born Unknown, and died November 17, 1914. She married John Johnston.

Notes for John Johnston:
Hunter Arbuckle: John was a newspaper man at Lewisburg for several years before they moved onto a farm near Frankford that his wife inherited from her Uncle Robert McClintic.

Hunter Arbuckle: Minnie d. 1947 -m- John B. Livesay (1858 - 1933) of Frankford and had 11 children. Most of her children moved to Gallipolis, OH and she went there to live in 1944. Her body was brought back to Frankford and buried in the family plot.

      201. Sarah Hamilton4 McClintic (Alexander H.3, Alexander2, William Alexander1 McClintock) was born January 15, 1841, and died June 04, 1921. She married John Pettus McDannald. He was born March 17, 1828, and died August 1900.

  558 i.   Clyde Elliot5 McDannald, born 1876 in Warm Springs, VA; died August 13, 1949 in New York, NY. He married Evelyn Tunnison
  Notes for Clyde Elliot McDannald:
Dr. Clyde E. McDannald, an ophthalmologist in New York City for nearly 50 years, was born in Warm Springs, the eldest son of John Pettus McDannald and Sarah McClintic. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the Medical College of Virginia, served an internship at a Virginia hospital, and went to New York in 1900.
He served on the staffs on Metropolitan, Bloomingdale and the New York Lying-In hospitals. In 1905 he joined the staff of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, serving on both services, and was actively associated with this hospital for the remainder of his career, as ophthalmic surgeon and later as honorary surgeon.
At the time of his death at age 73, August 13, 1949, he was survived by his wife Evelyn Tunison McDannald, a son, Clyde E. Jr., a daughter, Ann Pettus who married Frank Wyman, and a brother, Alexander.

      205. Elizabeth4 McClintic (Alexander H.3, Alexander2, William Alexander1 McClintock) was born 1852, and died 1948 in Glenville, West Virginia. She married James Harvey Arbuckle 1876, son of John Arbuckle and Caroline Handley.
