Naomi McClintic Daffin 1913 - 1998

Naomi McClintic Daffin, formerly of Lewisburg, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 11, 1998 in Roanoke, Virginia. Mrs. Daffin was born in Bridgeport, West Virginia. She received her education from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and West Virginia University. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and has been a member of Lewisburg Chapter 108 since 1940. She was also active in the Lewisburg Business & Professional Women's Club, Hollins Homemaker's, Presbyterian Women and a member of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg, WV. She is survived by her two sons and their wives : John William McClintic, Jr. and Barbara B. McClintic and Stephen Corder McClintic, Sr. and Patricia L. McClintic of Roanoke, VA. Step daughters Jackie Farr of Anchorage, Alaska and Julia Scoggins of Hampton, VA. and their families. She is also survived by her brother, O.E. Corder Jr., of Daytona Beach, Florida, F ive grandchildren: Michael S. McClintic, P. Allison McClintic Martin, Stephen C. McClintic, Jr., Stephanie A. McClintic, Glenn W. McClintic and one great-grand daughter Victoria A. McClintic.
Her first husband, John William McClintic and her second husband, Joseph Caldwell Daffin, preceded her in death.
Friends are invited to call at Oakey's North Chapel on Monday evening between 7:00 and 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 14, at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Roanoke with Dr. David Kirk officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, West Virginia at 2:30 pm., with grave side rites conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star.
