HELP US FIND THE BRANCHES OF OUR TREE

We are searching for more descendants of William Alexander McClintock (McClintic) b.1717 d.1801 and Nancy Shanklin b.1723 d.1809, who came to Pennsylvania from Tyrone County Ireland in 1763 and later removed to Bath County Virginia along the Jackson River in 1773. The spelling was changed to McClintic about 1790. Children of William and Nancy McClintock (McClintic) were: Joseph, Robert, William Alexander II, Alexander, Nancy, Jane and Margaret. Joseph, Robert and Alexander's son, Thomas McClintic moved to Greenbrier County, West Virginia. William I, William II and Alexander remained in Bath County for the remainder of their years. Other members of the family moved to various part of the country.

William II married Alice Mann, Robert married Jane Mann, and F. Alexander married Sarah Mann. The Mann sisters were the daughters of William Mann and Jane Hamilton of neighboring Allegheny County.
