Bauer, Bowers, Bolling, Powhatan, Burge, Land, and Nelson

I am doing family research for a family tree for my grandchildren. My granfather was Adolphus Worth "Duff" Bowers from Cowan, TN. His father was Abraham Abram Bowers. My grandmother was Nancy Scivally. I know my father, Roy Houston Bowers was about 18 months old when my grandmother died. All these Ancestors were from Cowan, Franklin, Tennessee.

My first husband was Jimmy Francis Nelson, his father was James Lewis Nelson, Jr.. His grandmother's maiden name was Della Goforth and was part american indian.

My research has been on mostly on the Bowers that settled in and around Cowan, Tennessee.

My daughter-in-laws line is Land, Burge, Stockstill, Bolling and Powhatan.
