I'm interested in tracing back from both my maternal and paternal grandfathers. My paternal grandfather was William Webster McDermott who was born in Webster City, Iowa in the latter 1800's. He was married to Hattie Alice Carroll who was born in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. They had at least two children, Clifford Harold McDermott (my father), who was born in 1897, and Burr McDermott.My Maternal grandfather was Archibald Koch who was born in Germany about 1872. He migrated to the U.S. as a young child with his parents. He married Ora Lee Barber and had two children by her, Bertha Mae Koch (my mother), and Herman Koch. The family lived in or near Golden Colorado in 1910. He was employed by Coors brewery as a cooper.I will be most appreciative of any help that can be provided.
