This Home Page is dedicated to my grandchildre , Brendan, Tyler and Kaylie Morris, Callaway Hill and Caeden and Cameron Longley. While genealogy and family history have always been of interest to me, I wanted to discover the family background for the grandkids. Right now, most of my research is on my maternal side of the family, as that information is more accessable to me. I plan on someday having more background on all branches of the tree. I have information from the Poitou Region of France, tracing the Lejeune and Gaudet family to Acadia and from there to Louisiana where they eventually settled. Some of the names I am researching are: ANCELIN, ARCENEAUX, ARCENMENT, AUCOIN, BABIN,BECK, BENOIT, BERGEOIS, BEAUDROUX and var. spellings, BOURG, BREAU and var. spellings, ,BRUN, CARBINEAU and var. spellings, CAUMEAUX, COMEAU, COMEAUX and var. spellings, CORDEAU, CORMIER, CORPORON, CROOKS, CYR, DAIGLE, DESLAURIERS, DESLOGES, DEVILLE, DOUCET, DUGAS, DUTRAIN,FOX, GUADET, GAUTEROT,GODEAU, GAUDIN, GUIDRY, HACH, HACHE, HEBERT, HINTON, HOOTER(OUTRE), HUFFMAN, KAGIJONIAS, LANDRY, LAPRAIRIE, LAVASSEUR, LAVERGE, LAVERGNE,LEBLANC, LEJEUNE, LEVRON, LICAIRE, MARTIN, MICHAUD, MERCIER, MONTE, O'NEAL, OUELLET, PAUL, PELLERIN, PETITPAS,PINSONNEAU, RENAUD, RICHARD,RIGOOAUD, ROUSSELOT, ROY, SAVOIE,TAVARE,TAYLOR,TERRIAU, TERRIOT, THERIOT, THERON, THIBODEAUX, TOUPIN, TRAHAN,TRAIN, VINCENT and YOUNG. On my paternal side, I have found BYRD, CULVER, BECKER and eventually I will be researching MORRIS, PALMER and WILLIAMS to add to my grandsons' genealogy.I owe a big Cajun thanks to a "cousin" I found who gave me the start I needed to get rolling. Thank you Doris, I owe you big time!
I love you my babies, Nana
