We are researching the following names: Westcott in MA, RI. NY and CA. Humphries (Humphreys) in KS, MO, KY and CA. Holladay in KS, MO and possibly KY. Oscar Stormfield originally from Sweden.Henry Morse from Maine. Benjamin Yocum who started the Pony Express in MO but may have migrated from KY. His daughter Sarah Ann was one of the original settlers in Williamstown, KS.

We have found our line in the Stukely Westcott lineage with the help of a new found cousin in the midwest and are working on further facts and information regarding this family.

Also Short, Meade and Clark along with Cherokee and Alongquin Indian history in NY, PA, MI, WA and CA. Amos Short claimed (in the 1840's to be related to a Meade who fought in the Rev. War. Esther Clark Short, his wife, was 1/4 Cherokee and 1/4 Alongquin and claimed to be related the William Clark of Lewis and Clark.

Amos Short and his wife, Esther, were some of the earliest pioneers to travel west from MO to settle in and take an active role in the town of Vancouver, Washington.

McDonald and Rowland in MO, possibly PA and where else? My husband in looking for information on the Rowlands. He has a good deal of info on the McDonalds but has hit a brick wall on the earlier parts.

Any help on any of the above names would be greatly appreciated.
