This board primary research will begin with the surname McDorman, starting with John McDorman who born in 1760 (location unknown) and died at Fayette County Ohio where he had moved to in 1803. The farm location was known as Rattlesnake Creek which was six miles from Jamestown, Ohio located in Greene County.
John had two sons James and William Henry. James stayed in Ohio and William moved to Ashgrove Greene County Missouri. From Missouri, around 1830 William Henry and the family moved to Ft. Chadborne Texas.
