My grand parents on my father's side David James McDonald, born 16 Mar 1877, and Sarah Jane Yandell, born 24 Dec 1883.

My grand parents on my mother's side Angus Young, born 14 Apr 1891, and Esther Elizabeth Dutton, born 2 Aug 1895.

I am researching Elizabeth HAND, born 1829 in Ky Co, married to Jesse W. YANDELL, abt 1848 in Sumner Co, TN.

Elizabeth is 1/2 Cherokee Indian. She came by wagon train from Arkansas to Missouri with her son Thomas Cornelius Yandell. Her sister Rebekka Hand and Rebekka's son John Lewis Brower came with them.

Elizabeth is buried at a Private cemetery just outside Troy, MO. Her sister Rebekkah is buried next to her. They both have the Cherokee Indian Tribes symbol on their tombstones.

Burial: Rybolt Cemetery - Hwy. 47 east from Troy, MO appx. 7 miles to Hammett Rd. (across from Hwy
W). Turn right onto Hammett Rd., appx 1 1/2 miles . The rd will end up at
a flat rock crossing in a creek.Just as you get to this, the cemetery is
on the right , up in a cleared field.
